Play it once. Playing courses like that, you will remember for the rest of your life.  I still remember playing Orange County National the day before Q School qualifying. Shot a 74 in peak conditions from the tips. Granted this was back in 2003.  Just like playing the Bull in Sheboygan before it was open to the public.

I’m going to get razzed for this but I’ll take the Saturday and Sunday tickets forever. Then attended when I want or use the tickets to fund a lovely golf lifestyle on the years I choose not to attend. 😂

PLAAAAAAAYY!!!!!!!!!

I've even started working HARD on my game to see if I can actually get any better, after going from a 10 to a 5 last year.  Wild and crazy goal is to make some noise in the USGA Mid Am in 2025-2026, and possibly earn an invite to the Masters in 2027.  I'm older (46) but still hit it pretty well, my drives average 315-ish yards.

Play! Without hesitation!

I've been to the Masters a few times and it is always a great experience I never turn down the opportunity if I'm able to go.

My uncle has had the privilege of playing ANGC more than once. He even told me that he had to turn down the invitation once because he couldn't make it work logistically. When he told me that, I almost threw up! I told him if he ever gets invited again and cannot make it, to forward that invite on to me. I would drop most anything and start driving towards Magnolia Lane!

Seems pretty unanimous in terms of what most are thinking.

What hole would you be most intimidated by? And what hole would be the one you look forward to playing the most?

Definitely play for me.  Most intimidating hole for me would probably be #11.  I would be excited to play them all but the par 5's stand out, and of course #12 and #16, just an iconic course.

I was there last year, and it is the most beautiful golf course I have ever seen.  The fairways are like the greens I usually putt on.  I would play and watch it on Saturday and Sunday at home.

For me, intimidating .... the one I am on at the moment LOL!  Look forward to, probably 12, as there was a local family-owned course near me, sadly now closed and overgrown, that had a couple replica holes, Augusta 12 being one of them.  They also had 7 from Pebble.

Hole 18 would absolutely destroy me.

Hole 12 and 13 would be what I look forward to the most, even though Rae's Creek would rob me of all my balls.

Seeing as I've never been and this year will be my first time, I'm going to say, get Sunday tickets (I already have Saturday tix)! Plus, I don't want to tear up the grounds with my game. Hah!

With the Masters quickly approaching, t-minus 29 days for those counting, I'm going to pose this question... Would you rather:

Get to play a round at Augusta National once

OR

Get Saturday and Sunday tickets to the Masters every year

Easy… tickets 100%. All the merch, famous player sightings, watching excellence in action, reselling tickets for extra cash. No debate….

Thanks,

I would rather play it once than attend the event on Saturday and Sunday every year.

Thoroughly enjoy playing golf, but if I did it for a living, I would stave.
