Bought this because i am terrible at reading greens, and i also have a terrible gauge of yardage. I use my GPS watch to know distance to the green, but I want to know distances to different areas of the hole as well.

They work very well. I have the GolfLogix book for my club as well as the book from Green Slopes. I wear contact lenses that don’t allow me to see slope properly so these books have been my bible for the last month.

I know I just recently posted about some shoes.. but this is a little different.

My 16 year old nephew has recently decided to take up golf with the encouragement of myself and my pops. His dad knows absolutely nothing about golf.. or much of anything for that matter.. and keeps buying him crap gimmicks to magically "make" the game happen for him.

Being the kick @$$ uncle that I am, I bought him these. Nike React Vapor II's. Found them at Ross of all places for $25!!! These aren't just crap bottom-shelf outdated shoes. They sell these right now at Dicks for $130. As far as I could see, they were brand new with no defects. For a beginner, these are some pretty dope kicks IMO.

Told him one of the most important pieces of golf equipment are a good comfy but functional pair of golf shoes that will keep his feet in place while he's learning the basics.

the more I practice, the luckier I seem to get..

I have been on here way to often lately.....

so definitly converting to full walking mode as I just purchased a push cart. Dark grey is all they had (wanted the green but yikes on price point)

HMMMMM;  is there a story behind the untimely end to you Rogue 5 wood?   What happened?

Cracked the face on the second tee hitting my tee shot. Damn thing has seen a lot of play over the last year or so and was used by my fitter for over a year before I got it or stole it from him. Nothing bad just reached end of useful life and gave out. I could never be that juiced by the second tee to break a club or actually have never broken a club in anger.

It did and I got the TS2 from the same guy with what I have been told is next to no use. He built it for himself and didn’t play it all that much so I am grabbing it as a replacement at the friends and family price.

Nice!! Great that he has support in his new adventure! Hopefully he loves the game and plays for a long time.

Certainly worth a try for that! Mark has been loving the CBX2’s. Are you looking to bridge the gap between a set wedge and a more traditional lob wedge? Or looking to go CB for all of them?
