What did you get her? I got mine a pink Hybrid that she loves, but her putter is yellow. She's 4 now and ready to size up so I'd love to get her something pink (or rainbow, or unicorn) for her next one.

This is the putter I got her. For a 3-5 year old I would say it's perfect! I didn't want to spend a lot of money but didn't want to get something that was totally garbage. So far it has awesome, now I need to get her some pink golf balls ha ha

I didn't make the early morning post this morning, got to the golf course late, but just in time for 7 am tee off.   Didn't play all too well today, felt rushed the entire round.  But it was good to walk 18 holes.  The weather was nice, a bit overcast and 66 degrees at 7 am.  Distracted from getting up late & having to take my truck to the dealership.  Warning lights on the dashboard came on the other day indicating an ABS Brake issue.  Then yesterday two more dashboard lights for Brake system came on. Thought it might be important ! Dropped off the truck after golf, priorities man! 
Good excuse to work from home! 

@MattWillGolf actually Tony Bennett is in the music shuffle, along with Louie Prima, Lou Monte, Ella Fitzgerald & Jerry Vale.  I enjoy Pandora. I set up a Louie Prima station.

Went to the pga store during my lunch/workout time for their Wilson demo day to test the ai fit and they were also giving away free golf balls which I’ll never say no to. The fitting system was pretty cool. Has an arccos type sensor and you take a few swings and it spits out a ton of data and then club head, shaft, and grip suggestions. The data was similar to what I got from the mizuno shaft optimizer when I did that a month or so ago so it’s pretty impressive what they’ve been able to do.

Good morning all!

 

I didnt get a chance to type up my adventures from yesterday so here it is. I decided to brave the elements and go play a quick 9 holes in the rain. It was a roller coaster of a round and I played pretty well.  I almost dunked a HIO on hole 8, literally pitched 2 inches left of the hole but spun back about 8 ft. Then, as I was walking off the green I slid in some mud! I didn't fall but my left leg kinda went under me and tweaked my knee and ankle. I decided to play out 9 and almost dunked again from 120 out for eagle. Made the birdie on both to finish with a 35 but my knee and ankle are really sore today though lol.

I was actually gonna pick some up the other day because they were on sale but went with the Bridgestone mindset instead. I’m really looking forward to testing them out

It is very unlikely that the wire fell any further than the bottom of the floor plate. Depending on the size of the hole where the thermostat is mounted and the height of the hole you may be able to fish the wire out yourself. If the hold is an inch around get some duct tape and an old fishing rod. Put a wad of the tape on the end of the rod sticky side out. Run it down the wall and dab gently. You don't want to grab more than the end of the wire and just pull it back out. Might take a few tries. 

Or measure how high your receptacle outlets are from the floor. At that height cut a hole in the sheetrock that a blank outlet plate will cover. Remove the thermostat drop a string down the hole and pull it out the new hold in the wall. Get a hanger and use it to fish the wire out of the new hole. Tie the string to the wire and pull it out of the thermostat hole. Get a short piece of 1x1. Cut it so it is 2 inches or so longer than the hole in the wall. Put a wood screw through the wall plate into the center of the 1x1, Make sure the wood screw is long enough to allow you to slide the 1x1 into the hole and move it around until the plate covers the hole and the 1x1 grabs the edges of the hole above and below the hole. Tighten the wood screw gently until the plate is solid on the wall. When you get in the home improvement mode later you can put a proper patch on the wall.

So the upstairs thermostat is not directly above the downstairs one nor the boiler in the basement .. the wire must make a few turns from one corner of the house towards the opposite one... We also have two zones, upstairs and downstairs, so there are two sets of wires coming off the controller board. And a finished basement so a lot of the wire runs are hidden...

Was thinking maybe try to - carefully! - pry back the baseboard. And yeah one ultimate solution may be to run a new wire dripping from from the attic. 

Bottom line? ..I literally need professional (hahaha) help!!

Good morning Spies on this Community Call and First Round at the Masters Thursday from a wet Michigan.

Raining here, and supposedly lasting all day today through tomorrow morning.

Although we can use the rain and I don't have golf plans until the weekend, not a big deal to me.

Hope you get the t/stat and wiring issue resolved @cksurfdude, a lot of great advice, but with you knowing exactly how the house heating is laid out, you will make the best decision for yourself.

Masters Thursday is finally here (even if things are going to be a bit delayed), I have my first round scheduled for 7am Sunday, now if it was not going to be cool and rainy the next couple days that would be a real plus. Can't win them all but in this case 2 out of 3 is not bad.

Good morning MGSpies on a wet predawn Community Call Thursday in WNY with rain predominating the forecast now until Monday   Got in another 9 hole round at the park with greens again yesterday although the 1st and 2nd fairways were prepared in the good weather for Monday's change from park to muni golf course, not stellar play as beginning any exercise program always starts gently without stressing the body too much. 

Work computer getting itself onto the network and full day of fun with finance ahead, yay  hope to see lots of my MGS forum friends later today, and if possible for you, hope golf is a part of your day!

Good morning spies and happy Masters Thursday to you all!!! I hope that my workday goes by quickly so that I can catch some coverage this afternoon. With the weather in their area I suspect that it shouldn’t be a problem.

Planned on a round yesterday after work but not quite the way it played out. My wife called me at lunch and asked if she could tag along and play as well, she’s never played before but I think that she kind of caught the bug when we went to TopGolf in December. I tired to get us on the local par 3 course but the women’s high school team was using it so we went to one of the munis that I have a membership to and grabbed a cart for nine holes. We had a blast and she even out drove me on #9 which made her day. I sent driver up the left side of the fairway expecting a cut and got nothing but straight ball flight which caught a branch and stopped it at around 185 yards from the yellow tees. She, using my old TaylorMade R7 3 wood as a driver, went straight down the middle of the fairway for 155 yards from the red tees which put her drive a couple of yards ahead of mine.

Good morning to all on a wet dreary rainy Thursday morning. Thank goodness coffee is hot and delicious and I got my first round of the season in yesterday. Driver and irons were in reasonably good shape, but putting and short game were right out of the good, the bad and the ugly. But overall promising start. So today while it rains, back to practicing indoors under the benevolent eye of Dr. Trackman. Will enjoying watching the Masters in all its wonderful glory over the next few days. Have a great day.

Not only The Master's but Calloway Paradym testing opportunity as well! What a way to start the day. The MGS staff just keeps bringing their "A" game!

Looking forward to Community call and who the guest may be this afternoon.

Starting the morning a little cooler but the rain is now out of our area. Range is closed today so no warm up and cart path only at this time will make for a longer round due to the conditions. Going to be a wet muddy one but we shall prevail and retain the Senior Cup. Time to finish my ritual biscuits and get ready to do battle with myself...
