It is Thursday my spies… Thursday is Friday’s Step Sibling, wants to be like Friday but just can’t pull it off. 
    Busy next couple of days, with lots on my plate.  Meeting tonight about the invasive creature(s) invading the course along with a review and possible update on  single play rule(s). Will have a quick meeting  of the militant senior citizen group before the full meeting. 
   I really need to remember to turn on my company computer or phone more than once a week. I am evidently having my annual review for my career pathing on Monday and for some reason I am suppose to be there in person. If I can get lucky and get called for a random drug test ( been hoping for one of these ever since I hired on ) before the review,  then I will probably not have to worry about the review and instead just start the “forced early retirement” paperwork. 
   Need to work in a minimum of a few hours of golf before this coming weekend tournament. Most of all, I need to concentrate on continuing to “ duck and cover “ whenever my totalitarian but supposedly benign female ruler calls or comes looking for me. 
    Have a pleasant day my fellow spies, but pace yourself, the weekend is coming.

Well, I am finally able to get up and moving, at least a little bit.  Been down for three days with Covid, absolutely took it out of me with my asthma this round.

Wellputt mat should be in to replace my cheapo mat I have been using, so that will be nice.  Crossing my fingers I will feel well enough to play at least nine this weekend, weather should be beautiful.  We will see.

At least I can watch F1 this weekend.

Good Morning/Afternoon Spies, 

It was a warm Central Florida morning 78 degrees at 7am, but didn't tee off till 7:40, made for a late round, especially getting behind a slow 4 some. Rode in cart today vs walking and didn't play too well. 

Back at work, on 2nd cup of coffee, putting out fires, but penalty for taking the morning off from work to play golf, LOL.

Yes it was a steamer this morning , I started my 3 mile walk at 7:15 am ( no play today ) and was drenched by the time I finished ( 17:00 minute miles ) and then worked outside on my landscaping for a while so playing would have been warm as well. Index is another mild 107 but it’s Florida by golly and these old bones don’t hurt near as much when it’s hot

The weekend is almost here and I'm looking forward to it. We were originally scheduled to be the flex shift this weekend, but work was cancelled for the production crew. I think I'm going to take the wife out to do something, she's going stir crazy since the surgery.

Rough round yesterday, ran into a big back up and had to leave early but was just not hitting the ball well. Scrambled to a decent score but driver and irons were off. These rounds happen and the streak of really good play has to stop at some point. I'll get them next time though due to course renovations I only have until October 1 at my home course and the sister course will only let us play Monday-Thursday after 12 PM and you must take a cart.

Not my favorite set up, first I love to walk and second those times are so limited. Way to take care of those people being members at a course that opened late, closed early, and went down to 9 holes part way through the season. I know the membership was cheap, but this seems penny wise and pound foolish to not just let us play the other course for the last month of the season and get the positive feedback. It might make me more likely to pay the higher membership when that is going to kick in after this renovation is done.

Any way busy weekend with a bachelor party my wife and I are both actually in. Going to a comedy show, instead of the outdoor activities we wanted to do given the weather. Should still be a good time.

Good morning Spies on a TGIF here in Michigan. For me it was an early commute, and hoping for having time to wrap up all that needs to be done, as I will be out traveling for the next 12 days.

Leaving work laptop at office, so really need to make sure those who haven't been paying attention, won't have to disturb me while I am out to figure things out.

Good morning and happy Friday spies!! Nothing besides work planned for the day. Probably work on some putting after work, as usual. It’s gotten to be the most consistent part of my game again and I am liking that. Hoping to get out for a round tomorrow but, there will be rain looming most of the day and my daughter has soccer sometime in the morning so we shall see what happens there. Golf may have to wait until Sunday.

I have a home inspection early this morning and then a few errands to run.  No golf on the radar for me today but I think I am going to go back to the basics with the driver this weekend at the range.

It’s Friday my spies…. All that needs to be said for Friday is that it is Friday. 
   At times yesterday’ I played like I knew what I was doing, not often, but at least occasionally. The Association of Ancient Agers managed to get the single play edict removed. We have to sign a release form if we play as a single. This seems to have something to do with the vermin infestation we are supposedly having. That part of last night’s meeting was postponed as the expert that was slated to speak could not make it. 
    Hope golf is a major part of your day, just beware of  any elderly you encounter. They probably can’t remember where they have been, done, or touched.

First post on here but have been reading for a while. Seems you're a friendly bunch; least most of ya. Up until your behind duffers who suck slowly. Ha!

Shoulder is a mess today so this weekend will be a short game seminar until teeing off on Monday for a buddy's scramble.

Just grabbed a "commercial" mat as my garage sim build journey begins.

Y'all hit em straight and go easy on the cart girls.

Good morning everyone.  Great weather today for some outside work. 

@EasyPutter i came across a PGA Hope range session at the course last evening.  They do 6 sessions in the spring and 6 in the fall bringing interested golfers over from the Perrypoint VA facility, as well as any other vets that bring themselves.  It looked like about 3 dozen participants.

Good morning Spies,

Woke up to a beautiful foggy morning. My first cuppa is going down. My wife and had great dinner at the Noodle House last night. I had a dish called Turmeric Noodle Bowl. The sauce was amazing . Golf was so fun yesterday even though I was often hitting into a 2 club wind. My putter was working so well. I have been using the Evnroll ER11v I tested for the forum. The anodization is showing wear but it still performs.

Best ball tourneys are like "casual friday" at the office.  Still the same "work" to be done, but in a much more fun and relaxed environment.  Enjoy the break and feel better!

Good morning everyone. Coffee in one hand and my yardage book with all my caddy notes is in the other. Going over my strategy today for my Match Play round at Lost Rail and I’m pretty sure I’ve mapped out every possible way to attack this course and make birdies in bunches. I’m not going to let the 140 slope rating hinder my boldness in any way. All that’s left is getting a pin sheet out of the caddy shed before we tee off to confirm my attack strategy. Wish me luck!!!

TGIFF my fellow spies!!

Admit it, those of you who remember The Muppet Show (one of the greatest shows ever) were picturing Kermit doing his "thing."

The work portion of my regularly scheduled Friday will be very short today - 3 hours. Why? Because I have a noon appointment at the Titleist demo day here in the Glade. Someone cancelled and they reached out asking if I wanted the spot. So I figured, what the hell.

Going to see what their long game options can do to help get me more yards while still keeping the ball in play. If there's time, I may swing a T150, T200, and T350 just to get the initial feels before seriously looking at them in the Spring.

After the fitting, I'll be grabbing a bucket or two and working on my irons and the stuff my coach has me doing. Then some putting work while I'm there. So I'm packing a sandwich and snack along with my water bottle and figure I'll be there most of the afternoon. Not a bad way to spend Friday afternoon if you ask me.

Working and watching the clock tick in slow motion. It’s amazing how slow time goes when you waiting to get off work and already dressed for golf. Heading to the course at 11:00 when I’m officially off work for the day. Teeing off at 11:30 to get ahead of the 12:00 men’s shootout.
