Been reading Jon's blog articles for a while, and have his book too; I really like his common sense approach to the game.

FYI everyone - not to hawk a different golf forum, but if you're not familiar with Practical Golf it's (not an instruction series but..) a great resource imo to *playing* the game!

curious on the content. About to pull the trigger but if it is the same as the book IDK if i see the value. i guess worth a shot with a 60 day money back guarantee no questions asked.

Haven't looked through yet, but yes one part of it will be Jon talking about concepts from the book .. but I believe he'll be extending into other areas eg. more on the mental game with David Mackenzie and I believe other aspects eg training with other coaches, too..? 

Agreed worth checking out with money back offer!

I’m also considering finally moving on from the original CBX wedges in my bag. My set gap wedge is very strong at 46* and I’m thinking of going 52&56* with my new ones. 
I’m also debating going CBX 52* and RTX in the 56 (or 58), maybe even both in RTX. Thoughts?

The 60 is the core size of the grip so it will fit "standard" size on the typical .600 diameter shaft.

Can't comment on the wedges............................

I bought .590 grips because I've been using ladies flex shafts and thinking they'd be good but not so, shafts are not smaller lol so got them on with 2 papers BUT very difficult pushing on. Feels good tho, lol...

The black shafts on those wedges look very nice.  Are those KBS shafts?

Ivan looks ready to adjust your loft and lies.  My son when he was that age thought the grips tasted great!

Yeah they are the KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 shafts. Never tried them, but think they could be perfect fit.

Was advised by friend of a pre-owned Callaway UW 19 in perfect shape at local Edwin Watts. Bought it to compliment my beloved UW 17  with same Hazardous RDX Stiff shaft. But UW19 cut down an inch, so now i have, essentially, a 4 and 6 fairway metal that perfectly gaps between driver and 4 iron. Traded even for an old putter, 3 wood, and driving iron that i’m too slow to use anymore.

My last set of Wedges on my SM8’s I ordered with the Hi-Rev 2.0 shafts and found them to be pretty nice shafts. Definitely worked as advertised, I moved away from them only due to weight and the swing profile of the shaft was so different from my C-Taper Lites that it felt like I had to have two separate swings for my irons and wedges.

I traded in my 3 wood for a 5 wood and I am much happier. The 3 wood off the deck trying to get closer to the green on a par 5. What would happened most of the time was a shot that made it a bogey hole or penalty stroke for sure, now I play the hole backwards. What do I mean by that? Now, I think about that second shot is to put me into a position that best suit my game to reach a par 5 in three. Works much better.

Exactly why I switched to a 4w (cut 1/2” short) and a hot short 7w. If I need to lay up 7w it is. If I have a nice lie, I can attack with 4w. Enjoy!

I recently bought a Wilson TM22 as I have been using a blade which has been failing me as of late. Went from 37 putts to 30 putts. Am happy with the result so far, now to put more rounds in to see if the results stay that way.

I have been eyeing this exact putter and the White hot 7 nano. Can you post a couple pics of this WIlson and feedback on feel?

The feel is good. I was comparing the Wilson TM22 vs the Cleveland Milled Soft #11 and I was more comfortable with the TM22. I was very confident with the roll of the head even on the off center hits.

Costco has Callaway shorts for $19 per pair, and Adidas socks for $14 per 6 pack. 
Also bought a 4 pack of Kirkland gloves for $22. They’re very nice and durable, but a bit hot.

Found an Evnroll putter for 70 bucks and I love how it feels. Also got some new to me wedges off the Calloway preowned site. They were all like new so I’m hoping the groves are really good still because I’ve heard good things about their preowned stuff.

Well that didn’t take long, haha. Just posted on what are thinking about Friday about a new gap wedge. Stopped by 2nd swing yesterday and saw this beauty “used” still had the Mizuno sticker on the shaft for $117.

I live in a rural area and havent found one of those to try, the 19 degree model interest me because I have heard it described as a easier to hit version of a big hybrid/fairway wood combo. How would you describe it?
