Having given up a fifty year activity over spinal stenosis, I had really begun to miss it.

Our "Dukes of Decrepitude" Tues-Thurs-Fri morning seniors' league was a second family to me. 

 

I'm trying it again.....with a back brace....and new woods (I can't help myself). 

Riding, of course.

 

I can hit a bucket of balls if I take it slow, but I can't practice putting.  No matter. I never could putt the ball into the ocean from the deck of a cruise ship.

 

After a couple of practice nines, I'll be rejoining the Dukes as an alternate, and if it works out, I'll be back for my twenty-seven holes a week next year.
