Yea, I thought is was odd cause they are on the hook. That is why I think it will be next season unless Kirk plays really poorly (which he could, he has before). Cousins is very consistent overall really, but when he occasionally dips it's pretty bad. And I am not sure he elevates the team around him like the best do. They probably see that. Just my guess, it is a costly decision though, agree.

trouble brewing in little ol' Franklin Mass.... town needs an override to fund the schools and people are *very* divided on the issue.

back to the good stuff though - get to play 18 this afternoon. I'm always grateful when I get to golf and never take it for granted. Sunny and blue skies with a bit of chill in the air. Going to try to figure out how to get in to the weekly skins games. 

Hoping that my replacement shotscope watch arrives from usps in time since the battery on LRF died.

Got my new no torque Axis 1 yesterday and popped on the GP reverse taper. Anxious to see how that works out. Also reshafted irons and put on some fancy ferrules so I'll be looking purdy out there.

Need new tires for our SUV and they aren't cheap.... but my 17 y/o drives it so it's a must.

bummed I missed the weekly call yesterday; had to take my kid to the doc. will be looking for the recording so I can listen to it. this was one I really wanted to join too.

have a safe and adventure filled weekend!

My guess is that the Falcons are taking a page out of the Green Bay book. The Packers have taken QBs (Rodgers and now Love) and let them sit and learn for a couple of years before throwing them into the fire. It seems to have worked pretty well, and you have a better chance to win during that internship than if Penix were going to start right away.

I'm proud to say this is my 500th post on the Forum and it feels poetic that it's happening in this thread. This community has become a second home for me over the last nine months or so and I'm very grateful to be a part of it. Cheers to many more posts and years ahead!

Not much on the agenda today. Should be a pretty easy workday and I'll be checking out some of the Zurich on the side. Weather supposed to get rainy later on, but at least temps are starting to climb for the weekend.

I hope that everyone has a great Friday and if you're lucky enough to be golfing, hit 'em straight!

Getting ready to head over to the range for some good practice in the sub 50° weather, tee time on Sunday and I gotta be ready to go!! 

Besides that Raiders selected the best available player and I think Bowers is going to be a boss on the field so I am happy with the pick.

No, we stayed on level ground... or mostly so, leaving the decent into the canyon to the hearty.  Elevation on the rim is about 7000 feet and many do not account for that in their "I can do it" analysis.  I'm sure we could have done a short-ish hike down and back on the less severe grades, but we were happy to just take it all in from the rim. 

I do think going on an overnight (or two) rafting trip would be fun and provide a completely different experience. Looking up those near vertical walls would be something. The pictures simply do not do it justice.

Good morning folks.

I am left with the blues today as I won't be able to play this weekend.

I got to squeeze an unplanned full round last night where I tested the Ghost Golf Anyday Ronin stand bag for the first time. Check it out HERE if you're interested!

I've purchased online off Tire Rack; but check out Goodyear .. see if they have any current sales - and for only another $20 they come to you with a big van and do the whole job in your driveway.

Also little update on the LE Masters DARKSPEED driver I won.....all the LH X heads are out of stock 

So I will be opting for the standard X in 9*, which I am not upset by at all as I LOVE the matte crown finish on the King Tec hybrid. Not sure when I will get it, but as soon as I do pics will be inbound! Also potentially getting the Ventus TR Blue 6X...not sure on that yet though. The person who I won the draw through (@jesusofgolf), was going to see if they would put that in for me. He's also a fun follow, so go check him out!

Yeah, he was a "dip" for my Redskins, for sure. Albeit, I also had the WORST owner in the NFL to deal with. I just consider the Dan Snyder years my "Dark Ages", and I'm glad they're over and done with. Time to look up to a brighter future for my 'Skins! (Not sure what the other team name is, and don't care... lol!)

Friday is finally here.. The gateway to possible freedom and fun.  
  This last week the only physical attachment to golf for what seems to be lasting an eternity was getting around to opening the “ Club Scrubber “ package and checking it out. The product works well, but made the longing for golf more intense. Still a week away from the next episode of my Medical Novella.  
   Missed posting on this thread yesterday and late today due to having to complete some continuing education updates to comply with my contractual agreement with “ Those People   
 Then had to deal with the new fleet leasing outfit that “ Those People “ have switched to. The young person I dealt with  ( by sound of their voice ) had no idea what the terrain and roads along the Tex-Mex border are like. They were quite upset at not being able to downsize me out of my full sized 4x4 to a smaller pickup. Safety and customer service overruled their need for cheap. 
   The she of the “ Female  fiscal  fiasco “ overheard me talking with fleet about a new vehicle. When I got off the phone she “ mentioned “ that if I got a new vehicle that she should get one also as her’s was four years old… . I said fine, call the fleet leasing outfit and give them her employee ID number and rank status. Her “ Duchess of Deficit “ spending, was not exactly thrilled with my answer.  To try and nip in the bud this attempt at needless spending; I may have exaggerated a bit by saying if I got a version of one of these vehicle’s to work the border with, then I would get her the same vehicle in whatever color she wanted..

Next thing I heard was a loud Arrrgh!! As the keeper of my heart and owner of my life was going out the door to “ Friday’s Female Freedom Foundation’s “ … Happy Hour. 
 May you all enjoy and have fun this weekend. If you are fortunate enough to get to play golf…. Try and keep it “ real “ by using some common truths like….

While I was being a tad facetious… Unfortunately the Cartel’s Middle School cadre is more heavy armed than what the jeep presents.. But it did get the point across to the wife person, whom also happens to be the  only entity that rivals the Cartels here in Texas.
