Would you rather... Masters edition

With the Masters quickly approaching, t-minus 29 days for those counting, I'm going to pose this question... Would you rather:

Get to play a round at Augusta National once

OR

Get Saturday and Sunday tickets to the Masters every year

PLAY! Having experienced the opportunity to attend the Master's, the only reason to return is hands down to play!

Even at my level, I don't think I could pass up the opportunity to play. I'm sure seeing the best every year is awesome but playing, that's once in a lifetime stuff for only a few people.

Given the unanimity so far, I think we need to say that if you choose to play, you can't set foot on the grounds again.

For the love of the game I’d say play. It’s tough choice though. I love masters week. I typically take Thursday and Friday off and go watch with my FIL so being able to go in person and watch the weekend would be special.

There is NO Doubt about it.... PLAY PLAY PLAY! 

The Masters is my Favorite tournament of the year, then after that British Open, US Open the PGA. I also get a kick out of watching the PRO AMS at Pebble Beach.

Hopping on the PLAY train. I have never been to Augusta for The Masters so watching it on TV for the rest of my life wouldn't be too much of a change. To be able to say you played the course would be incredible.

This is an interesting question.  I think play it hands down.  It would be on the very top of my bucket list.  I have fortunately done Saturday and Sunday once and it was epic, but after walking the course and watching some of the putts on the various holes, playing it would be amazing.  There is something magical about Augusta.

While I don't believe that I am good enough to handle the challenges that Augusta presents itself with. I definitely feel that I would play it just to say I could

Honestly, this is a bit challenging for me.  I think the easy answer (for me) is to play, but it would be really fun to plan an annual trip to Augusta each year.

I don’t think I even keep a score.  I would want to take at least 18 - 20 mulligans, so I can hit shots from famous spots in the fairway and to try to make some of those unreal breaking / speed putts from different spots on the greens.  Plus a number of skip shots of the pond on 16…

Lastly, I would love to eat a nice lunch in the clubhouse post round, take a tour of the clubhouse / butler cabin and go to the member gift shop to buy 2 of almost everything…

hmm, great question, I would rather play Augusta National once, I think even if I did get tickets to watch the masters I would do wed/thurs/friday and watch Saturday sunday on tv coverage, just too much going on to be everywhere all at once.

I can’t believe I’m in the vast minority here but I’d take the tickets IF I get 2 tickets and can bring a friend. If I have to go alone I still would probably choose that over playing it but it’d be close!

Has anyone not said play?  I think that's pretty much every golfers dream. I also would take playing. I'm a low single digit hcp and I think I'd be happy breaking 85. Doubt I could but that'd be the goal lol. I would just hope to make one or two great shots and maybe a birdie. Imagine birdieing one on Amens corner
