I like it a lot, very functional and high quality. I don’t carry anymore but it seems it would be fine for me if I did. The bag I have is the stand bag from the Vessel and TM collaboration. The only reason my wife picked it was because it has Grumpy on the side pocket. Overall seems like a solid bag that should last several years at least.

IMG_4355.jpeg

I think the thing that stood out to me from all of the customer reviews was quality and durability.  I seem to go through bags every couple of years.  I'm pretty rough on them and they definitely get a lot of use.  Even if the Vessel bag is a little more expensive, I'd be willing to fork it over if it lasted a little longer than usual.   Let us know how it holds up this year.  Thanks for posting the pictures!

Well it’s spring and if course clubs ho’s gotta buy something even if they don’t need it lol.
Bought 5 and 6 iron heads Maltby TS1’s to replace my Wilson CB’s as can’t seem to get along with them. I have the Wilson staff mb’s 7 thru PW. and love them. Built them this weekend gonna try them out sometime this week.

Also grabbed some Nobull golf shoes with the Golf spy code 30% off. They haven’t came in yet so we shall see.

I found a Maxfli Tour the other day and played it rest of round pretty impressive ball. I ordered a dozen of the Tour X as my gamer ball is Bridgestone TourB XS at the moment. We’ll see if it gets knocked out of the bag.

I think you will like them @ILMgolfnut.  IMO the best I have ever had. The stability is crazy.

For the price, they'd better be stable as a rock. I just set a new record for most money paid for a pair of shoes. I'm thinking my next major golf-related purchase will be a pushcart; I need to do more walking without the clubs on my back.

When I was in Florida in April my wife got me a Vessel bag from the shop at Disney Magnolia. Had it dining room before I played on Saturday and my wife and daughters decided I needed new headcovers so I now have new head covers from Pins and Aces. Driver is the American Flag, three wood has flamingos and five wood is the Gadsden Flag. Each of the ladies picked a cover and think they did well.

I bought a 2017 Callaway Epic Sub-Zero because at the golf and travel show this year I absolutely spanked a drive in the simulator, and couldn't stop thinking about it... That, and my ST-190 shaft broke right at the adapter.

I bought a new adapter for the ST-190 and now it's 3-wood length.

It feels great to swing, lot's of control, but you can tell there is less speed, might be a decent fairway finder.

Recent purchase was a new Sim Max2. I have struggled with an Epic Speed, TS3, and kept going back to my R11, but thought this was worth the $285, since I was offered $130 for the Epic Speed on trade, which I could've probably tried to sell for more, but I'm a little too lazy

When my wife asked if I wanted to leave Maine and move to where she grew up, I couldn't say no to Pinehurst, NC. I honestly don't spend much money on golf equipment, but I'm constantly reading reviews in case I ever get ready to buy

I swing left handed and have been the State of Maine Left Hander's champion since 1997, the last year they held the tournament. I'm currently a 7.1 handicap. Trying to get lower, but my gut gets in the way.

I ordered some grips from Amazon.

Anyone want to weigh in on air compressor vs traditional install?

I'm new to this and wouldn't mind a "grip install for dummies" tutorial 😀

Installing with air is super easy. If you have the air gun tool from pure or star both should work fine. If not, using a plastic tube needle should work as well. Myself, the rest of the testers for the star grips test, and a few other members have detailed the process and what PSI we all found to work best in the Star Grips testing page (I have the link in my sig block).

Just added the Odyssey Ai-One Jailbird Cruiser to the bag to replace the Odyssey Works 2-Ball Fang. I played over 10 years with the 2-Ball and even continued to use it when the face insert fell out. It was very reliable so naturally I was very nervous to change. The Jailbird has been nothing but the perfect replacement. The main difference I notice is how much hotter the face feels, though that may be due to the lack of the face insert in the 2-ball. 10/10 would recommend for someone 6’ and up who don’t like bending over a 35” or 36” putter and loves the feel of a mallet. One more added plus is the putter cover is sick!

Oh I've been hitting my dad's on and off for quite a few months so aside from different shafts, I'm very familiar with these. No doubt the TS1-IM's are really great. Personally, I prefer the feel of solid forged and the TS3's are a little more friendly. The TS4's are currently en route to Gabe at LetsPlayThru in FL so these are my new set. The real test will be between the TS3's and TS4's.

Looking forward to it. I played the TS3 with Modus 105s and MMT 85s and shaft dramatically changes the feel of the ts3. So it wont be apples to apples but not wayyyy different. I can imagine these are going to be amazingly accurate with the rifles

Yeah I built my dad's with TT Elevate 90g R flex.. that's more like apples and brisket 😜. When I hit his, they basically broke through the atmosphere. I'm hoping these XS flighted rifles keep the ball more on the planet with some laser precision. I can't wait! The irony is that I pulled my Achilles right before I built this set so I'm yet to put a swing on them. Hopefully in a week or 2 I'm good to start swinging a club again.

bummed that my Bettinardi wasn't working out but 2nd swing has a generous 30 day return policy.

decided to move on to something entirely different. I remember trying this in store and liking it but it was crazy expensive at the time. less than half the price for this one.

looking for any L.A.B. owners who want to go head-to-head  😉  with the OG in no torque/zero torque/torque free....

A modern half mallet putter. The Tour-HM combines the alignment features of a mallet with the flow of a blade, utilizing our “Perfectly Balanced/ Torque-free” tech platform which takes the timing out of toe-hang and keeps the heel and toe parallel to your path through the stroke resulting in a squarer face at impact for improved directional consistency and distance control.

Sam Hahn from LAB would tell you the revealer shows it isn’t torque free and twists when you move it fast.   The Axis team will show you that the LAB has torque since the  grip is ahead if the CoG.

hope it lasts until Kingsmill and we can do some testing 😁

I’ve found a used one and thought it felt pretty good.  I personally kind of like torque since it gives me some indication on the face position….feedback is good!

I saw the video Sam posted re: long putts. Nobody moves the putter that fast unless you're 30 yards off the green. I need something stable within 8 feet that I don't have to think about.

The Axis video is also bunk because he used a hook in the grip which totally changes the LAB putter. The 2 owners *really* don't like each other. haha.

Have my fingers crossed on this one and that it makes it to Kingsmill ---- and beyond. This will be my 3rd putter I've tried and I've only played a few rounds!! 🤣
