I’m interested in the Robo lawn mowers.  Not sure SWMBO is as enthusiastic as I am.
All the power lawn  equipment is Ryobi lithium.  For my simple needs work really good.

I have one of those that's 4-5 years old, it still works great. My son-in-law and daughter who live close by use it on occasion. I think I'm going to have to replace the battery soon, but given the mower's age that isn't unexpected.

Led this tournament in scrambling, and that is something that is not typical of his solid play from tee to green.

Glad to see him win again, as I am sure the pressure of the last couple weeks along with the heat experienced made things more difficult than what they may consider normal.

He looked wasted in the last few holes, lots of guts.

OK, attended my second car event this weekend which raised money for Leader Dogs.

An update, we raised $1500.00 on Saturday from our Cars & Coffee, and this Lion's Club show raised a total of $6000.00 today.

Holy Smokes there are some *beauts* on display!!! And congrats on such a successful fundraiser 👍

Personally am kind of a fan of mid 50s to mid 60s and wow there were some really nice cars shown .. including that 64 Riv! Something about that front end screams this ain't no generic 1990s-2020s sedan/wagon/CUV/SUV boy!

I was taking to a guy I work with today and he mentioned that he played a course about 25 miles north of here over the weekend that his son joined.

It's under new ownership and from what my buddy said, they're running a killer deal on memberships. From what he said, it's like $370 for the year. I need to find out if it's for the rest of the year, or for a year.

I'm thinking about joining even though I'm still not able to play right now, but I'm going to have to go up and talk to the ownership.

The following pictures are for @tony@CIC and @EasyPutter for reasons obvious to them and me.

Also is a link to about 200 pictures of various automobiles, all makes, models, and ages from this event today.

Hope the car people here enjoy them.

Thanks for sharing the photos, Robert! Looking through the Google photo album and there are some great looking cars that were out on display.

I'm happy to hear you all had a great turnout and raised so much money for Leader Dogs.

The guy sure is a fighter and a heck of a putter.  The L.A.B. rejuvenated his career, not a bad ball striker either.

Was he a broom stick guy before?  I don’t think he was, in which case part of me wonders if it isn’t so much L.A.B. secret sauce and more so just a change to the broom stick approach.

Had an 5-hour workshop this morning, saw 7% chance of rain and low 80 degrees temps, so took the top off the Bronco.

Walked out of my meeting with the realization I was going to have to drive through rain to get back home to get the top back up and windows in.  First rain drive was going to have to happen sometime, but was not prepared this morning.

Also, adding another vote for Ublock Origin and Privacy Badger.  Add in Facebook container as well, gets rid of most everything.

The oldest club in my bag besides my putter is my sand wedge. So I’ve been looking at wedges. I tried the Edison but could not consistently get out of the sand with it. Thankfully they offered a trial period and I was able to get a full refund. TaylorMade just released the Milled Grind 4. Its previous models are well reviewed. It goes on sale starting September 8th. So I thought I’d go online to pre-order a new wedge. Nothing fancy just a 54 degree wedge + 1/2 inch and 1 degree upright. It’s back ordered until December. That was even confirmed by their live chat representative. It seems that TaylorMade suffers from poor demand planning. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Its about the size of a basketball.

Being a member of Team Questionable Judgement there are all sorts of possible remedies to this situation!!

I’ve taken out a few that size over the years. Also accused of having questionable judgment.
You have to do it at night when they are asleep. I used a can of that expanding foam. Stick the straw in the hole and squirt a little to close the hole. Don’t over spray or it will crack open the hive. Anything that tried to get out got stuck. Immediately soak the outside with hornet killer. Then run (just in case). Check for activity the next day. If nothing soak it again. Day three cut the branches so it falls into a black trash bag.

Gas fumes also kills them.

The chicken way. Set a lawn sprinkler (the one with a stream not a shower) pointed right at it and set it to stay pointed at it. Go back to the faucet and turn it on. Go in the house for an hour to wait. You want to soak if through and bust it apart. They will eventually all leave.

I appreciate the input but neither of those suggestions involve explosives or fire!  The gas fumes are intriguing if a match is also involved!!  We are not attached to the shrub it is part of so some collateral damage is acceptable.  And I don't mind losing an eyebrow or two while in the midst of this adventure. 😆
