Good morning Spies. Another day to be thankful for a waiting golf course and friends to share it with.

Friday with a group called the HOGS, honest old golfers who's main goal is to have fun and support out local Disabled Veterans Post. Snow Birds have arrived and good to see their faces and stories of great summers and the usual doctor visits.

Good morning and happy Black Friday to all of you!

For any of you that are going to brave getting out for sales, I hope y'all can make it out alive. People get crazy this time of year. I had thought of riding out to town after the insanity subsides, but I think I might get it and clear up some space on the carport. It's a catch all for anything outdoors and has gotten packed.

I'm still recovering from the food yesterday, but I'll eat more of it again today. 

@Dead Solid Bogey, I hope you make it back to Texas without having to take out a second and third mortgage on your house.

Good morning folks! Hope all is well and everyone had a great day yesterday? Today starts leftover week, at our house! Still on this thankful kick, so today I’m thankful for the ability to achieve something no one in my family has which is getting my Masters Degree. Today I will get to play 9 holes with my FIL, last time we played I was a super high handicap and it he beat the breaks off me. Hopefully this time the improvement in my game and lack of his playing time will surprise him and lead to a victory! lol

Chllly 57 degree Central Florida Morning.  This will make for a chilly Ranger duty day.  High will be 66, come on, this is Florida! .  No golf today.  On 2nd cup of espresso! Didn't really overeat yesterday, victory for today! LOL.  Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

Good morning all on a post Turkey Day morning. I was off the forum for the better part of the day yesterday as I wanted to focus on quality time with family (that didn't stop me from a late night article completion, though ). Back at the office today for a short Friday, probably until 2pm or so, working on finishing some continuing education credits to renew my professional certification by the end of the year. Always a busy (expensive) year when recertifying and will be looking forward to having it all wrapped up.

Going to make our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm tomorrow and start getting decorations out and lights up on the house this weekend. Also got the golf cart winterized and stored at my in-laws shed, so now time to rearrange some things in the garage so I can get to work on my swing for the offseason.

Hope everyone had a great day with family and friends yesterday, and has an even better weekend.

Here, SWMBO is already looking to make plans for December, January, and February to find places to stay for a while during our winter months.

She more than likely will go with her sister and B-I-L as I am still gainfully employed and plan to be that way for a while yet.

Late posting here but was on the forum earlier getting a special discount code for the Stack System from another member/tester and placed an order for that to head my way as well.

Had Thanksgiving Day dinner with SWMBO family yesterday, and today my children and grandson are headed our way for Thanksgiving dinner, due to their work schedules making them both work yesterday.

Hope that your day is the best it can possibly be, and that your credit card or bank account balances stay in a healthy state.

Good Morning everyone!  It was a quiet Thanksgiving here this year; just my wife and I around the table after cooking up a small turkey when we finished playing golf yesterday.  Golf wasn't fun... we had a 10 mph wind out of the north... thanks Canada!!  Knee still hurt, but I did have back2back birdies on holes #3 and #4; I have never done that before on those two holes.    Looks like I'll be taking some time off the links for awhile to rehab.

Looks like y'all had a great day yesterday.  Keep it for another month... diets can wait until January!!

Hope the impromptu trip doesn’t turn out terrible. Be careful as there are scams around shopping these days. I got this notice recently and thought I would share it…… just in case.

Good morning MGSpies while it is still morning here on the Post Thanksgiving Day review AKA Black Friday hoping both shoppers and retailers achieve their goals for the event.  Late post and later than Robert @rkj427 due to working the day when most of the office took the day for whatever, always enjoying the quiet both in terms of people about and associated workload that goes with them mostly absent. 

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving directly or vicariously from afar as we gladly share the togetherness with everyone worldwide as is the fundamental nature of giving thanks on that one day of the year (that tends to continue throughout the year).  Always enjoy reading your posts @Dead Solid Bogey as you have a way to capture so much that we have in common, my hat is off to your composition and humorous way of taking us along with you, now to Florida where I hope you find the clearer waters that makes negotiating matrimony's treacherous waters survivable. 

Hope that golf is a part of everyone's day!

Happy Friday, everyone. It’s been a great week off with plenty of golf activities and more food than I should have consumed. But wouldn’t take any of it back. Good morning. Rained out yesterday after 3holes. Back at it again this morning dealing with overseed on greens coming in but happy to be playing. No turkey leftovers, what a bummer. Big win by Wings over Boston Bruins yesterday. Born in Beantown and Bs are my favorite Team but 40 yrs in the Motor city has left a soft spot for the Red Wings. 3 boys still there and grew up big fans. Hockey Night in Canada was a must watch.

Good morning everyone!

I spent time cleaning up the carport yesterday to make room for the new griddle. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but wasn't able to actually assemble it. That's on the agenda for today along with fixing a shelf in my sister-in-law's closet. We had to run to town yesterday to get some brackets for it along with a couple of other things.

I hope all of you are recovering well from Thanksgiving and any traveling you did.

Ended up losing to my FIL yesterday, and throwing everything I had learned out the window. I get nervous and start rushing the game, and golf is a game that can not be rushed. Disappointed in my mental game and aspect. I have to do better. Oh well still had fun and love the fact he is willing to play with me. He’s a pretty cool guy, definitely lucky to have such awesome in-laws! So continuing on with the thankful streak, I’m thankful for the health I do have and the ability to try to get better today as a husband, father, son, friend, person, and golfer! Today is a new day and a special day because of that! 
 Remember today is a blessing so please be the blessing to someone. Have a great one friends, it’s rivalry Saturday, Roll Tide! BE THE BLESSING!

After having great family time the last 2 days, for my real-world job the customer timing requirements mean there are days I need to work and today is one of them.

Good morning spies!! Great Saturday so far, I actually slept for a couple extra hours this morning and loved that!!

Patiently waiting for F1 qualifying to come on and contemplating making some breakfast. Otherwise, no real plans for the day other than getting groceries for the week.

Made a stop at Home Depot yesterday and bought a set of router bits while also ordering a router. Couple of wood projects in the plans and an expansion of tools was in order. Still have my eye on acquiring a drill press as well.
