I sure wish I could complain about 60* weather......don't think spring will ever come a little peak from my window at work still only 30* here

Down in Florida on a family vacation. Was able to get out for 18 today. First round of the year and you could tell. Really didn't score well at all and had more than my share of balls in the water. Also they had the course in tourney conditions so that's my excuse. IMG_8831.JPGIMG_8826.JPG

I just don't miss this at all. Sheboygan, WI, where I moved from, had a foot of snow and most churches had to cancel last weekend's services.

 

Of course we had to cancel Sunday Services for a Hurricane last fall. :)

You played Bardmoor! That's my club's sister course. I've ricocheted a few balls off that tree on 10. You're actually better off driving it down the left side on that hole but the fairway opens right so that's where most miss it. Then the tree comes into play.

 

I'm sorry that I couldn't play this week. I would have loved to meet you. How did you enjoy the courses?

Heading out in  a little while to remove the virginity from my new Ping G400 Max.  ;)   Only problem is my right wrist is acting up again.   I thought it had healed up however it started hurting again yesterday.  Must of been all that driver testing I did up at Club Champion. :( Anyways I'll strap my widget on and get ready for battle!

I really love the community I live in, the weather just sucks sometimes and isn't always golf friendly, looks like we are in the clear as nothing but sunny 50 and 60 degree weather in the forecast. Let's melt that snow!

Going out this morning to see if I meet some new buddies.  My regular senior group plays on Tuesday & Thursday however I venture out on the weekends occasionally.  I'm not bashful when it comes to getting paired with strangers.  Usually by the third hole we are old friends.  :D  Only on rare occasions will I get paired up with a sour grape.

The courses in the Detroit area are finally getting in spring-ish condition. Some of them are still a bit of a mudfest, but things are greening up quick. My buddies and I finally got in our first twilight foursome round in on the season. Had a few ugly holes and a rough day putting but couldn't ask for a better weather day - 60°, overcast and just a hint of a breeze. That winter was brutal, so glad it's over.
