Morning everyone.  Quiet Sunday here.   

1. watching the replay of the Scottish open even though I know who wins.  Hate that the Golf Channel and CBS shot it as being "live" 
2. Being quiet since my daughter got home a few hours ago from her first shift at the hospital. She's sleeping and has to be back at the hospital for another 7pm to 7am shift tonight.  
3. Wishing I could go play golf and try out the shaft I got from @EasyPutter at the Pinehurst outing.   Got the adapter early in the week and got it installed and gripped a couple of days ago.   All ready to go but SWMBO told me I can't play golf today.

Good morning all from Hades; also known as South Texas… Suppose to be a mild 102 degree’s without the horrid added heat indexing. A plethora of open tee-times to be had at both public and private courses here abouts, especially in the afternoon. Hard pass for me, good fortune and survival to those more hardy and determined than me.

FWIW, I’ve done the Alaskan cruise with older family on Holland America, which was pretty good, but that was my first cruise. Apparently, the cruise lines differ as to how much time they spend in port, and what age group they tend to focus on.

Really, it’s evening, and no golf today. Just yard work, coffee with the neighbors, and catching the Wimbledon finals. What a match!

I suppose it's morning somewhere so I can post in here now.

Summertime colds are the worst but at least it happened during some crappy weather. Glad to be coming out of it; we're getting a real soaker so I'm not missing out on much.

Was able to catch both the women's and men's Wimbledon finals.  WOW. I know this is a golf forum but to:
1. have the first ever unseeded woman win a final
2. witness a nearly 5 hour five set epic match and see someone take down Novak who had won 4 consecutive Wimbledon's 

My goodness. 

There are 32 seeds in the women's tournament and watching the first ever unseeded woman knock off the #6 seed was impressive.

To follow that up with a 1 v 2 men's final with some of the most stunning, exhilarating, jaw-dropping tennis ever... okay now I'm excited about the Open Championship!

I'm an early bird so I love the fact that the UK is 5 hours ahead and I can catch these events early on.

@BKervin @EasyPutter have either of you played Wildwood in Rush? I have a tournament there on Thursday and trying to get a scoop on the course before I play there.

@chisag, I’ve stumbled across a new issue. We get a lot of mosquitos and flies in the area during summer. So one morning after I got both our cars washed (no carport) I walked out to find our cars with bat droppings everywhere.

I have been to Wildwood CC and played on the indoor sims in February/March this year during a winter PGA HOPE session, fabulous indoor putting room complete with contoured indoor turf and well placed cups) but not on course.  Good question to post in the FB WNY PGA HOPE Members Group.  Also check out your golf app for a course overview (SwingU has it) or their website for the scorecard and Mike Mancari is the Head Golf Pro out there.  Best of luck for your tournament, my next tournament is at Stafford CC tomorrow.

Good Monday morning everyone, had a fun weekend with a lake day on Saturday with the family, and then some friends coming over yesterday. Last week before 2 weeks of vacation which I can't wait for. My parents ended up vacationing near us as there rental in Vermont was unsurprisingly cancelled. Probably gonna go see them today as its supposed to be very hot and they are on a lake so we can go for a quick swim to close out the day.

Played golf Saturday, only got in 9 with going to the lake, and actually played with someone for the first time. It was a nice change of pace and still played pretty quick. I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Good morning MGSpies from an overcast smoke affected AQI day in WNY, will be spending it outdoors playing a golf tournament at Stafford CC with regular partners and our foursome dress code of traditional so will be rockin' my camouflage (photo later)  coffee going down satisfyingly smooth as Jason said giving this slower Monday start a delightful beginning  hope golf is a part of your day!

Good morning all, well the shoulder feels good hit some balls in the yard and I am going to give it a go in league play this afternoon and see what happens. My 3 day golf trip starts tomorrow so I am hoping my shoulder doesn't bother me. First things first I have to get the 1 acre of yard cut. Hit them straight and have fun.

Good morning/afternoon/evening all, laying in bed here waiting for wife and daughter to wake up - which gives me a chance to catch-up on the forum. Canadian wildfire smoke rolling in today, so we’ll be limiting time outside today. I’ve spent many times around a campfire, but it’s like being constantly being stuck in the spot where the campfire smoke blows in your face.

I’ll be on the road today for a little bit. I’m turning in a bid for a project we’re trying win - I’m a sales rep for the local Caterpillar dealership, selling emergency power systems. If I win, maybe I’ll stop somewhere with a practice putting green to sink a few.
