Planning a early spring trip back to Arizona. This time I'm going to explore the southern and south west regions.Might just rent clubs at the course instead of lugging them around from location to location.Really love this state

It's a nice place.  Lots to see and courses are nice; some expensive, some cheap.  Where are you going, specifically?

If you plan on playing more than a few times, you might check with some golf shops.  Some have rentals by the day or week that would be cheaper than at each course.  Lots of people do that in Hawaii rather than taking their own or paying premium rental prices.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Just looking to enjoy the sights of a new area. The golf portion is an after thought. Many times I visited a new area and thought about playing golf but never did it.I always Weigh the options(5 hours on the course) or (5 hours exploring a new area). When I do golf it is usually on a whim and a late call for an open tee time block or join up with strangers. The tee block can be tough with a late notice. But the walk on to join up has never let me down.Always groups seeking a one or twosome to join up with.A true golf trip never worked out for me.Ive messed Many a tee time to do other things

I'm going to visit Arizona again. And this time head extreme south and see the Countryside there. Also maybe drive on over and check out New Mexico as well.

Keep it in the short stuff

Couldn't find a thread specifically for thanking fellow MGSers so figured I'd post it in here (though maybe I should've started that thread!)

But a huge thank you to @MDGolfHacker. Few months ago we had a get together and I got to tee it up with him for the first time. Shortly after he shot me a text and asked me for my address. While wrapping gifts today, I came across a box that got lost in the pile and it was a box of Chrome Soft X golf balls. Appreciate it and look forward to getting out for another round with him!

MDGolfHacker is generous to a fault. That was veru cool.

Enjoy rhe Christmas present. Ha

Haven't had a lot to be happy about lately, been out of work since late Aug. Got a call for an interview this Wednesday and it looks real good.

🤞 I start a new adventure for the new year.
