Good Monday morning all!

Had a great weekend here, Soccer went of even with a bit of wet weather, but the kids had fun. Then ran to the store so they could spend the $10 burning a while in each kids pocket courtesy of their Grampie. We closed the day with our good friends coming over for the afternoon and evening which is always a nice time. Sunday was getting the shopping, and house work done for the week. We added in a quick trip to the ice arena for some skating which as a blast and our middle child insisted in doing it herself and she did great even if her right leg was the only one moving her forward, oh well she will get there.

Back to work today, should be just a normal day. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone. I try not to hate Mondays but it’s already one of those days. My coworker just texted to say he’s calling in sick which will be day 7 or 8 for the year already. Might have to put a little something special in the coffee this morning to get through this one. Hope everyone has a better start to their week than I am.

Good morning spies! The start of the new week looks like it's going to be our last couple of days with temperatures in the 70s this year. Unfortunately, that means the golf season is coming to an end. Good news is that this year, I have the Rapsodo MLM2Pro to keep my game in the right spot.

Good morning MGSpies from a first heavy frost autumn Monday in WNY with clear skies that makes yesterday's learning Curling (even though I have no hair) at the Buffalo Curling Club 

with fellow Veterans as part of the VA Recreational Therapy program something favorite from the weekend.  Also ran the tires son had sent to the house out to him in Rochester with the benefit of a superslice pizza and lemonade at nearby Salvatore's Pizzaria, owned and operated by a Veteran, all for less than $20 and service from a young waitress who gives promise her generation is stepping up to be the next best one yet.  Looking at forecast and jobs that need doing outside thinking of foregoing today's tee time (sacrifices are sometimes necessary) with tee times every day this week and forecast highs in the 60s... yep will keep tomorrows, and hope golf is a part of your day!

As I got in the car this morning to the tune of 34* weather I shed a tear as I headed to the brick building to satify financial obligations. I played the home course Saturday and I could have played 36 more on Sunday. Shot a PR on Saturday with a score of 81, shooting 2 over on the front 9. Damn, why did Monday have to come so quickly!

Good morning my respected spies, for a Monday, this has been sort of an ease into it type of a day. Still should brush up against 90 degrees down here today. The SHE being is still recovering from the “ Bonus Grandparent “ gig and therefore has left me, mercifully alone. On the hook to have to earn my daily bread from “ Those People “ later in the week.. So yeah, today should be a day of ease. 
 Played exceptionally well for me. The KISS protocol worked well. Snap hooked two putts ( Yep, they were putts ) but still broke 80… Ancient Ager tees have been a gift from a much higher authority.  
   Going forward, I am considering going to the KISS protocol in dealing with other facets of life. 
    Remember my spies; thinking long and hard may cause a multitude of unintended consequences.

     

May you all launch into Monday and bend it to your will without too much mental stress.

Good Monday Morning Spies! 

Nice Central Florida morning, 67 degrees. A little warmer than yesterday mornings at 61 degrees at 8am. BRRR.   Ranger duties all weekend, so was AWOL. Did get in 9 holes after work yesterday, I was a bit beat last night! No golf today! Back to regular job.  On second cup of espresso!

Good morning All, 

chilly start, but it should warm up into the 60’s this afternoon. Coffee is doing yeomans work this morning, as my wagon is a draggin’ gonna get a range session in this afternoon in anticipation of opening night for our virtual league at the top tracer range. We finished 19th out of 38 teams last season, so we will be looking to improve on that. The evergreen question: Do we shoot stupid high scores this week, to set our handicaps artificially high? The answer is: Hell No!

Good morning spies!

Back to the grind after an extended weekend. Was a good time with golf, friends, and warm weather.
Had a pretty good round for me yesterday, managed to tame the wind some with my 3-iron which felt cool, and another solid putting performance (thank you Sub 70).

Looks like we’ll see some lower temps, and maybe some rain this week (I’ll believe it when I see it). Have a Halloween scramble this weekend with my playing partner, he is dressing as Happy Gilmore and I’ll be his caddy, should be a good time.

Good morning fellow MGS'ers from a damp Monday morning. My dad has been feeling under the weather, which means he cannot watch our youngest son after 11am today when Pre-K is done. I have cleared my schedule, and the rain is supposed to clear off so an 11:40am tee time is booked for 9 . If it is slow and I can play quickly, I MIGHT be able to eek out 18, but not getting my hopes up as even 2.5 hours on the course is a long time for a 3 year old lol. Either way, getting 9 in will be awesome as the temps are mild.

Good Morning Motley Crue,

Man, it has been a while!  Coming off being a tester this past summer (loved every second of it) I went and signed up for the NYC Marathon... and then proceeded to recognize how that time commitment would pull me away from golf!

I'm very excited to get it over with, both because we've put so much work in but also because I really want to try and get a few more rounds in before the year ends!

Good morning, Spies!

It's definitely Q4, and as we head into the holidays, it is already The Most Wonderful Time of the Year for folks like me working in the transactions space.  Work is super busy, which is a good thing overall, but I will admit it's stressful.  It will stay this way through mid-December at least.

Does anyone else have the "Sports and Fitness" pop-up ad here on the forums?  I let that one keep playing.   It may convince me to take up ballet.  The flexibility would be good for my golf game, right?

We had our trees pruned  on Saturday and today are putting our garden to bed for the year.

Well now; good morning my spies, it is O’Dark Thirty on a loverly Tuesday morning. Headed to the part of Texas that God made for the likes of me. About daylight I should be arriving at what seems to be nowhere. 

Should be safely hiding out from her high highness for a couple of weeks as  “ Those People “ are bound and determined to get me to earn my salary. 
  As I had stated in and earlier diatribe, the short,  youth only, season for deer starts later this week. A couple of honchos from the corporate C-suites are taking their offspring to engage in a “bonding” activity. More work, but freedom in decision making for the likes of me. Also, as I have stated before, I am also betting on the deer to outwit and outlast the great hunting party. All the deer that is except for Hal, Hal is going to have to have some tricks in his bag, if he wants to  make it  to Halloween. 
  Take care of yourselves and those that you hold dear. If you find yourself on the range;  chunk, scald, and or shank a couple of range balls for me.

Back to work today, had to cover for my boss who is on paternity on a bit of later notice, but is seemed to go well so that's a plus. Today should be back to normal with time to get work out the door which needs to get done. We are getting close here as we change out major systems so things are only going to get crazier here in the near future.

Good morning and happy Tuesday spies. Starting the day with a cinnamon bagel and some chocolate milk this morning. Then it’s time to get the dogs out and head to work. Temps are always mid-60s and should get close to 80 this afternoon.  Should be the last day of warmth for a while as high this weekend will be in the low 40s.
