Morning all! Got a reservation at the indoor driving range today. I reserved some extra time because I thought that I would try out a golf course on trackman, something I’ve never done before. I usually just use it for practicing shots and getting distances, but today I’ll live a little.

Good morning Spies on Community Call Thursday.

Snow here throughout the day, 2 - 4 inches, and then another big storm coming through Friday into Saturday.

January, so it is to be expected, but not always wanted.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what may be in your plans or on your schedule, and hopefully something golf related is included.

Meeting an architect tomorrow for the remodel I'm working on because the city has decided they want full plans even though it's just a simple finish out.

Good morning MGSpies from a still not too cold but snow is on its way with Rob @rkj427 catching it first before it gets to this WNY neck of the woods on this Community Call Thursday  work computers going online for a basement workday with space heater under the table doing battle with the chill  coffee ready to help out that campaign.  Hoping the winter weather expected this weekend doesn't upset a really good lineup with a PGA HOPE fundraiser at a high school hockey game being run by the schools involved on Saturday, Sunday Veteran curling as usual and drive to dinner with son in Rochester, and Sim golf on Monday Federal Holiday with our HOPE regulars.  Hope golf is a part of your day  and see you later online

Good morning all! BIG ole cup of coffee is ready and I'm making it happen after a rough night of sleep. In laws are in town staying with us as wife & I have are having our baby shower this weekend. They brought there pup with em as a surprise so that's very exciting. As always we make the best of it! Work is still feeling like the holiday rush or everyone getting back in the groove just not much you can do waiting on product and missing dates. All this rain is a real downer as far as playing goes but that's what I have a sim for. Remember don't wait on a good day to happen, Make it a Great day!

Good morning everyone. Woke up to sad news. Sounds like the Oregon head coach is already in AL interviewing for the now open position. Thought AL would at least let Saban’s chair get cold before taking interviews. Hopefully the TX coach puts forward a better interview, lol. Oh well. Coffee is ready and my dog can’t figure out why I won’t feed him like I normally do. He has a vet appointment so he has a few more hours of humans disappointing him left to go. Hope everyone has a great day ahead and hope to jump on the community call for at least a little bit later today.

Good morning all!

Quiet day yesterday just working through part of a project at work, kids played outside in the snow and got to go sledding for a bit in the afternoon. Everyone went to bed very quickly with all the activity in the past couple of days. Today looks to be more of the same, just with cross country skiing set for this afternoon instead of sledding.

Good morning Spies,

Uppa with a cuppa. It’s a bit earlier than usual but still adjusting to a new normal and maybe a nap will be a part of my day. Weather is meh but I was able to run a few miles yesterday. I did get squishy socks though as although the trails in my community were plowed there was still some snow and puddles from it warming up. The run felt good. I can foresee a gym session later.

The last time they tried a coach from the Pacific Northwest, didn’t he spend most of his time in the “Gentlemen’s Clubs”?

Good morning on what is community call day and the last day of winter shutdown for me. It's back to work tomorrow.

I woke up a little later than I wanted because I need to be able to go to bed tonight. It's all good though because as @EasyPutter said, 139 days until the meet up. 

There's not much on the agenda today as I'm going to enjoy my last day of freedom for a while.

That was funny. Guy goes out one time with some boosters and is canned 24 hours after signing his contract. I always suspected it was a set up from some rich guys who hated the hire.

Good morning my fellow spies… To match my golf game we are in the middle  of a horrendous fog. Suppose to lift about the same time as the Ancient Agers tee off. The only thing worse than having a bunch of possibly cognitive deficient elderly on the golf course, is to turn us loose into a dense fog. Today is day two of a four day window for golf. The cold of the north is headed our way.
    While hosting a meet and greet for the Titleist T350’s with the rest of the bag yesterday at the practice range, I  noticed a lot of new to me faces, hitting balls. Guessing some are beginning golfers or individuals coming back to the game. At least one was new to golf as witnessed by this……. 

Have a magnificent Thursday my friends. I am too old to engage in a lot of multitasking efforts….So playing golf and possibly being either in a search party looking for any that got lost in the fog or possibly trying to find my own way back to the course after being lost in the fog, it is doubtful I will make the community call, but y’all enjoy. … Also @Stripe Golf welcome; all are friendly here and most are sane….

And a happy Pre-Friday everyone!!

Got our Feb getaway lined up (during wife's school break) .. just a few days during the week (to avoid weekend holiday travel) and hoping to get at least one, maybe two, golf rounds in.

Also got a recommendation due a nice looking course from @Tom the Golf Nut .. thx! .. looks to be an hour from where we're staying but also looks like it's worth the drive.

Other than that off to chiro soon, then some exercise, some garage orange whip swings and maybe a little chipping, too. Oh and should keep up with the basement putting, also. Then the community call

Good Morning everyone!!  35º and dark!!  Up early today and on 2nd cup of coffee.  We get some sun this morning followed by more high winds and rain turning to snow.  Won't see temps above freezing until next Thursday... single digit temps with -20º "feels like" on Saturday.  Since I can't play golf for the next few weeks anyway, I'm glad it's not wonderful golf weather!!  Off to see my doc at 10am.

Be safe and have a great Thursday.  Dubai UAE golf this morning and Sony Open this afternoon... welcome back TV golf!!

Good morning Spies, and happy Friday Eve!!

It's a chilly but sunny morning. The snow that was on the ground yesterday is already gone as I figured it would be. Wasn't more than a slightly heavier dusting than a regular snow fall. But was still a surprise when I woke up yesterday.

One casualty from the storm - my flag holder. It was "torn" completely off the metal base.

Needless to say, I was very shocked by this and didn't think the winds were THAT bad. Only thing I can think of is metal fatigue over time. But regardless, I now have to get a new flag holder.

not a good week to be a septuagenarian head coach - Pete Carroll, Nick Saban, and now Bill Belichick.

impressed they all coached into their 70's; it's a good life but not an easy one.

Good morning all. Yesterday afternoon I ordered my new set of irons. I went with New Level 902s 5-PW 3/4" long, 1* flat, strong loft, with Project X IO shafts. I will let you know how they play soon. Did anyone else order something to test yesterday?
