I have spent the evening working to fill all the open slots with Alternates, and would like to say congratulations to:

@MsWalkrOfSky @MaxEntropy @DonnieGolfs @Placasse61 @USMCSnyper and @Clayton you have been added to the starting lineup of the Match Play... check out your team assignment below:

 

If you don't make the starting lineup for the match play... there may be opportunities to use your "special set of golf skills" to bail out a team captain if one of the team members isn't able to play during a given week... so stay tuned and follow the matches

if you find you aren't able to participate in one or all weeks when the matches begin in the first week of September... Let your Captain know, Let me know, Let @Golf2Much know... It is understandable... life sometimes happens...  the sooner we know, the better we will be able to fill the team and match with an alternate or other available player.  

I will send out a more comprehensive outline of the Match Play Event rules (though much has already been discussed in this thread).  Captains... if you want to choose a Team Name (other than your handle) send that to us so we can build the tournament schedule... and when you have your pairings selected (2 two person pairings each week) - post it here.....

AND LET THE GAMES and SMACK TALKING BEGIN!!!

As you can see we have one spot remaining.  I am opening this slot up to all the MGS Members that completed the poll... if you signed up but weren't selected.... post here... first response committing to a round a week for up to 5 weeks... gets the last spot.

I'll wait for Tim's official answer here... but I think I can answer the real question being asked:

 

Per official decree, @GolfSpy TCB allows and encourages all participants in member match play event to wear White Pants throughout the entirety of the event, even after Labor Day.

That is all, carry on.

As long as you play one round per week.  And calculate your course handicap.  And submit your hole by hole net score to par based on the course hole by hole handicap.  We can take it from there.  

Simple. 

I'll post a sample scorecard showing what I mean later this week  (or @Golf2Much might beat me to it )

I thought White Pants Requirement was a GIVEN???    Pre or Post Labor Day... no matter!!
